DETROIT - Mark Teahen will revert to the utility role he possessed in recent seasons with Kansas City, but White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen hopes that Teahen doesn't lose faith in his defensive abilities at third base.
Guillen said he will put Teahen back at third at some point. Teahen didn't start at third Thursday after committing two errors, including a throwing miscue that led to four runs in the fourth inning of Wednesday's 5-1 loss.

"Want the ball, want the ball hit to you, and just go get it," Guillen said. "That's all
you can do. I'm telling you, when you don't want to go to the plate, you always
come up when it's a big at-bat. When you don't catch the ball, that ball will
find you someway, somehow.
"Am I worried about it, yes, I am worried about it that it doesn't get in his mind. I'm worried that it will get in his mind like, 'please don't hit it to me,' because the baseball Gods will find you.''
Guillen said he experienced similar problems during his final year with Atlanta in 1999.

"I'm not going to punish a guy or make the point of, 'oh, you don't play good defense, then you don't play for us,' " Guillen said. "No. In the meanwhile, I will think about how much do you want the ball hit to you? That's the worst thing that can happen.
"It happened to me at the end of my
career - 'please don't hit it here, fly ball, don't hit it here.' I know
mentally if you hit a fly ball I was going to miss it. That happened to me in
the World Series with Atlanta and New York. I was the best shortstop catching
fly balls and all of a sudden I couldn't catch a fly ball. I know that can
happen. I hope that doesn't happen to him.''

Ozzie hasn't lost confidence in Teahen? That's a lie from the pit of hell. Last year after the season was over when the sox was considering bringing back Jim Thome,Ozzie said that it was fair that Jim Thome sit on the bench and not get his fair share plate appearances which was another way of saying "I don't want slow base runner on my team" I knew he was lying when he made that statement. Hey Ozzie "How is Mark Kotsay working out for you?" Although he has 18 homers,Andrew Jones is a one trick pony.
and Ozzie is an idiot. Kenny should get rid of both ASAP.
the answer is C
Ozzie is a lying idiot
Time to flush the south side toilet and rebuild starting at the top with KW and flush out everyone down to Brent Lillyfruit
Sir Dragon of Gary Indiana
Stick with the Pacers
NEVER forget 1919
Just one of the many reasons why the White Sox will never catch Minnesota. Ozzie steadfastly sticking to his guns by supporting Teahan and in the same breath supporting his decision to let Thome go. All I can say to Ozzie as he finishes his LAST YEAR as Sox manager is welcome to the world of unemployment!
