one thing that bothers me is when managers and TV, radio, media people call some mistakes, "rookie" mistakes when veterans do it everyday. just off hand Bradley's throwing the ball to the fans with 2 outs, was he a youth? running blunders, throwing to the wrong base, etc are done more by vets than rookies.

and please don't compare Quade with quitter Louie. Quade speaks in his post game interviews. Louie didn't say anything. "I don't know what else to do" "I've tried everything", he was pathetic and I believe Ricketts fired him. or maybe hendry did.

and let's be very honest, Louie is a quitter, he quit in Tampa and he quit here last June as I told all you beat writers. he lost his fire to manage a bad team that he had part in assembling.

Sorrycubs, the reason why DeWitt wasn't leading off is because he is in the middle of a 2 for 26 slump! And "Fuku" did hit 3rd the other day. And what's wrong with trying to walk when you bat leadoff? Isn't the main job of the leadoff man to get on base? Shouldn't the leadoff man be trying to work the count and not just swing at everything close? If you want your leadoff man to swing at any close pitch early in the count, then you should be calling for the return of Ryan Theriot!

Why o why does Quade have Dewitt way down the lineup against a righty.. Just like LOU .. Fuku does better when NOT in the leadoff position.. He tries to walk alot in the leadoff and doesnt swing until 2 strikes most of the time.. Dewitt did really good leading off for a few games and dummy Quade moves him way down the lineup.

Sure Fuku been better lately. Let him swing bat him 3rd or 5 th.
