Holding the Bears' Super Bowl trophy, Richard Dent admires the Stanley Cup held by Blackhawks' coach Joel Quenneville as Jerry Reinsdorf holds a Bulls' championship trophy near White Sox's Mark Buehrle with the World Series trophy. (Tribune / Scott Strazzante) Staff report
The White Sox on Friday night hosted all four major sports trophies in a celebration honoring Chicago as the only city to win championships in those sports over the past 25 years.
Richard Dent will represent the 1985 Bears, Jerry Reinsdorf -- a late scratch for Scottie Pippen -- the Bulls, Mark Buehrle the White Sox and coach Joel Quenneville the Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks.
As for the Cubs? Well, this covers the last 25 years, not 102.

Why wasnt I invited? I could have brought the BP trophy...oh...wait...nevermind
They should have had an empty podium with the cubs logo on it. Could have had Banks walk out with a dime store trophy engraved with "Wait till next year"
Why wa no tippin pippin scratched? It was never explained and later in the game he was shown in a sky box.
Didnt anyone tell him what time to be there or was he stiffin another hard working waitress and couldnt be disturbed?
LMAO! So sensitive. I guess you guys don't see sarcasm smacking you in the face.
Yankees have 5 championships in the past 25 years. That is less than the Bulls by themselves (6). So based on this the Bulls have been better than the yankees.

They couldn't find anyone from the Cubs last title team?
==========================================================
Fred Flintstone must have been busy.
The good thing about this idea is that the Cubs will be left out of the presentation since they haven't won a championship since the Teddy Roosevelt administration. The bad thing about this is that it's being done when the Yankees, who have won more championships (and thens some) than all Chicago sports teams combined this past 25 years.
They couldn't find anyone from the Cubs last title team?
LOL!! Wow the jelousy flows on here. I would absolutely hate to be a Cub fan.
Hey Dragon, I got something for you to "stick" with!!
sox fans are so gullable.
The only Chicago team that has any bragging rights is the 90's Bulls. a true dynasty. Random flukes here and there are nice (Cubs could use one this century) but nothing to really brag about.
GO BULLS
Sir Dragon of Dullberry
STICK WITH THE BULLS
Of course, the last time the Stanley Cup was in the house, the Sox lost the game.
The Sox are on pace to finish just out of the playoffs. The team needs almost as much work next year as the Cubs, but since they had their hot streak they missed out on the opportunity to get some good prospects. Trading away more of the future to pick up Ramirez from the waiver wire would be silly.
And its morons like Hanging Chad that Cubs management loves. So exciting to pick up the sports page to look at attendance. I will enjoy looking at trophies and laughing at morons like you.
Cubs are the best EVER because we're the most popular. We always sell out Wrigley. Whoooo hooooo!!!
