Oakland (Mich.) Press' Dave Pemberton Tweeted that Pistons GM Joe Dumars has confirmed the team is discussing signing Tracy McGrady to a one-year deal.
If McGrady agrees to take the minimum salary, he'd be paid $1.35 million.
McGrady recently worked out with the Bulls, and after the the July 26 workout, he told reporters the Bulls represent his first choice.
The Bulls added veteran swingman Keith Bogans on Friday.

Sign McGrady! Jeez, the dude has serious upside and the Bulls will be paying the veterans minimum. They need a wing player who can create his own shot. Worst case scenario, they get a player that contributes occassionally off the bench. Best case scenario, they get a guy that can be a difference maker. The risk/reward for signing McGrady at the veterans minimum is EXTREMELY high. I'd rather have McGrady than either Bogans or Kover and they paid a ridiculous 5 million per for Korver.
Hey Lenny, 0 for 2! Just like the Pistons after 2 games.
Unfortunately, Pistons is spelled correctly in both instances it is used in this story and the CBA is long gone........0 for 2 champ. Sorry.
I am not familiar with the Pistsons. Is this a C.B.A. team?
