The Bulls will appear on national television 27 times in their 45th season, according to the 2010-11 NBA schedule released Tuesday.

Highlights from the home schedule include LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh coming to town with the new-look Miami Heat on Jan. 15 and Feb. 24 and the defending NBA champion Lakers visiting on Dec. 10. All those games are at 7 p.m.

The opener on Oct. 27 in Oklahoma City already had been announced. The Bulls open their home schedule Oct. 30 against the Pistons at 7 p.m.

Kirk Hinrich will make his return to the UC with John Wall and the Wizards on Nov. 13.

The Bulls do play five matinees this season, including an 11 a.m. tipoff at Madison Square Garden against the Knicks on Christmas Day.

The Bulls are tied with the Bucks for the league lead with a whopping 23 sets of back-to-back games.

Tickets for all home games will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Oct. 1 at Bulls.com, 1-800-4NBA-TIX and the United Center and TicketMaster.

Hubris can be a funny thing on August 12, 2010 1:30 AM

How often do athletes live up to the hype that surrounds them during free-agent season? How often do Hollywood blockbusters live up to the multi-media hype that saturates the entire world in the months leading up to the release day? It's basically the same process at work here. All of the players in Miami are highly over-rated. The Bulls have defensive answers for everyone on that team, and then some. Put D. Rose on D. Wade, double-team LeBron with Boozer and Luol, and let Noah silence Bosh.

The most back to backs last year and even more this year?! It is a conspiracy! Someone clearly doesn't like us!

Maybe LeBron or Dwyane will blow out a knee during one of the games at the United Center, I would love to see that.

the heat....wow....coke snorting prima donas....why even play a game?...just crown 'em now. will be fun watching them unravel.

82-0, top seed, NBA Title. The Heat, that is, I don't pay attention to any other NBA team.

Why are you posting on a Chicago board, doesn't the Heat have one or are Miami fans totally illiterate. Who cares what team you follow.
