Staff report

Marcel Dionne, all of 5' 8" and hall of famer... Gordon Bombay Kaner (not truly a center but basically is playing the position), 5' 10". I don't care if the kid is 5' 7" or 6' 3". If the kid can skate and is productive, then that's all that matters. It will be interesting to see how the kid does at Rockford this year.
And yeah, no more Buff, Veeger, Ladd, Fraser, Sopel, Eager, Madden and of course Niemi. However, the pipeline is far from empty; Skille, Bickell, Bickell, Davis, Makarov, Dowell, LaLonde, Danis-Pepin and Beach (who could become the new Buff). The Blackhawks organization has done a really good job filling the pipeline with good to great up and coming players.
Will the Hawks repeat this year, if I new that answer, then I sure in the hell will be picking the winning lottery numbers tonight. I will say this, I'm proud of the Hawks and the job that they are doing. So with that "Here come the Hawks, the mighty BLACKHAWKS!"
Guys! Guys! Don't be too hard on prairiemoon. If we chase him and his type away, at whom will we yell: "Wait for the whistle?"
The center is the tall one, right?
Hawks are making all the right moves for the future. Finally.
Hey prairiemoon, try learning a thing or two about whatever subject you feel the need to opine on before letting your fingers fumble so carelessly across your keyboard - it goes a long, long way to help keep you from looking stupid.
Well prariemoon, the NHL has this thing called a "salary cap." Of course, I understand why you didn't know that, since you likely started watching hockey this May.
This is nice and all, but what was wrong with the players the Hawks already had...you know...the ones who WON THE STANLEY CUP???
