Cool treat: Comcast to replay Hawks' postseason

Comcast SportsNet  plans to replay the 16 postseason victories that gave the Blackhawks their first Stanley Cup championship in 49 years over five days, beginning July 10 and culminating July 14 with a late-night encore telecast of the victory parade and rally.

Packaged under "Chicago Blackhawks: A Championship Journey," the hockey reruns help get the sports channel through its normally slack period during baseball's All-Star break, set for July 12-14, when both the Cubs and White Sox are idle and the bulk of the Hawks playoff games will be repeated. Comcast also will show the two Stanley Cup finals losses.

What is this "baseball" you refer to?

It could be worse...they could be showing reruns of Beuhrle's perfect game or Zambrano's no-hitter. Nothing like watching two guys play catch for 2 1/2 hours

You mean the last good games either of them pitched? Who would want to relive those memories.

We don't have a "decent" baseball team in this town so Comcast must think that we are better off watching reruns of hockey than live baseball.

If we had a decent baseball team in this town instead of the garbage we have on both sides of town, Comcast wouldn't bother with this plan that no one will watch.
