Could Terrell Owens be headed to the Bears?
Well, he got the opportunity to discuss the matter with quarterback Jay Cutler and tight end Greg Olsen when they crossed paths late Sunday night at Underground.
Owens used his personal Twitter account to announce that he was at the popular nightclub and that he'd run into Cutler and Olsen.
The free-agent wide receiver is 36 and to this point there haven't been many teams showing interest in him. Seattle recently has been mentioned as a possible destination. Owens made 55 receptions for 829 yards and five touchdowns last season in Buffalo.
Here is what Owens tweeted last night:
@ underground!! Waiting on jay cutler 2 come n here 2 explain how I wouldn't fit n their system!! Where u @ Jay?!
Ut ohhhhhhhhh!! Jay's n da house!! And his TE Greg Olson... Cool guys!

But it doesn't sound like Owens believes he soon willl be making Underground a regular haunt. He says he's in town for business, not to hook up with the Bears.
"naww I'm n town 4 business! Just happened 2 run n2 jay," Owens tweeted when asked if he would become a Bear.
Offensive coordinator Mike Martz has been effusive with his praise for the Bears' wide receivers and that didn't change coming out of the three-day minicamp Sunday. The Bears don't have a lot of experience, but they feel like they have depth and that the players as a whole are ready to take a step forward, especially Devin Hester.
Still, Owens might be hanging out with the Bears some more. There could be a hoops game Monday and Olsen invited him to the beach.
"Good times. Hit the beach with us tomorrow. True Chicago summer," Olsen tweeted.
Responded Owens: "lemme kno wht time, goin 2 hoop @ noon then my appearance @ niketown @ 7"

I am a bear fan for life and I live in Florida. It is truly sad to hear all the negative crap from so called fans who think they are so knowledgeable and call them selves proffits. I will stand by my team win or loose. Good or bad I will live and die, I will rejoice and mourn.. But I will always look for a good Year every year. Believe it or not, the Bears will surprise this year if they can stay healthy. What killed us last year were key injuries to our star players such as Urlacher... you know, I hope TO comes to the Bears cause I have a feeling that if he does, He will be a good factor and will make us better on offense. Our offensive line is suspect, but with good coaching which we didnt have last year, things can change. It starts off with a good leader who can teach fundamentals and technique. I love what the Bears have done and I am excited to see how this is all going to pan out. For all of you crybabies who see the glass almost empty, stop being so pessimistic and I will tell you this and will prophesize... The Bears will go 14-2 this year and win it all.... GO BEARS!!!!
lololol Bob! :P
WAIT A MINUTE WAIT A MINUTE
Creighton your comparing yourself to who??
T.O. has always got r done -
He had no problems last year, and he produced some numbers with a team that wasnt anywhere near his usual team's talent. I would think T.O. would be better than Marshall here with Cutler, They both play the same game, and frankly It would be pretty nice haveing the spotlight on the Bears for a change, T.O. would put us on the map, ESPN all the time Baby! (thats a good thing)
Most of what the media villifies T.O. for other players get away with.
I'm ready for some prime time as opposed to this lame a$$ football the Bears been playin, Other teams being in the spotlight all the time while the Bears sit lookin stupid.
GO T.O.!! GO BEARS!!
Cutler and Olson though hangin with T.O.?? Hmmm, suspect...
T.O. is under Jordan Brand and it does say he has an appearance at Nike Town. So haters stop hating. Why are you worried about us. Worry about your squad. Don't be mad we made the best moves of the offseason. Not getting a vet at WR is no issue with me. I would rather Martz start out with a core of young talent to mold. We saw what Devin A could do at the end of the season. And the reports from mini camp are positive. If our young lineman can mold with the vets. We will surprise the league. But the season must be played out. Haters quit hating and worry about your team. I mean someone said the Bears fans no nothing about football right. Well without the Bears you would have no NFL. Study ya history Dumb ass non-Bears fans!!!!
For those who are clammering for T.O. for the Bears, I only have one word: Milton Bradley.
Classic its like MJ and Charles showing up at Tiger's house. No worries Lovie commands soooooooo much respect he will be able to keep things under control! or maybe that born leader Urlacher will step up for more than a gome or two , Bian you and Gale have sopmething in common you BOTH DON'T have a Super Bowl ring the difference is he played on bad team and YOU nad the rest of the defense DIDN'T show up to play at your bowl game
While I believe the Bears could use a veteran wide receiver to help teach the young guys the ropes (I was thinking Torry Holt, but I guess that made too much sense), TO is not the answer. He's proven himself to be a club house cancer too many times. Now, about that OL?
RJ must be a Bears fan. TO would actually do well with the Bears, he played well on a bad team last yr. Cutler can air it out, they should give him a shot.
r.j. is just a pack or queen fan, that comes on here to stir things up. notice how he said "bears fans" as if he isnt one of them.
Smart play by the Bears, if they can't make Cutler not look like a whiny Puss on his own merits, bring in a bigger whiny puss to make him look better by comparison.
That is what Cutler needs. Someone with more experience at being a whiner and a crybaby.

I've been saying the bears need a legit #1 Hester, aromashidu and knox are not gonna scare any defense they are not proven.T.O.
.................................
I believe teams will be scare of Devin Aromashodu. After the last few games of last season he looks dangerous, I bet teams took notice of that.
I thought TO had a relatively uneventful stay in Buffalo, so why not in Chicago?
I actually thought he would have been a better fit last year to help Cutler but maybe this year is not a good idea.
I'm ambivalent.
I've been saying the bears need a legit #1 Hester, aromashidu and knox are not gonna scare any defense they are not proven.T.O. IS.Bears should sign him to a incentive based contract.Thev guy is 37 he's not gonna act like a baby anymore he knows his career is closing out.If he does cut him.Simple as that. You have to give cutler a chance he worked with brandon marshall well.Cutler needs 1 legit receiver it will work wonders for the other 3.Sat what you want aboyt T.O. but the guy works his ass off his attitude hurt his perception but as far as work ethic he is 2nd to none.
I wouldn't compare T.O. to Bradley. T.O. seems to have a pleasant, if super-egotistical,personality. Maybe Aromashodu, Knox and Hester could learn something from him.
And T.O. had a pretty bad QB at Buffalo. I think he still has something left in the tank.
Sign him to a contract loaded with performance-related bonuses. Should be a lot of fun.
jerry IS dumb enough to sign him. God help this franchise.
LOL, news reporting these days is play by play on tweets... good stuff
@R.J.
You may be THE dumbest of all!! Please tell us YOU are not a Bears fan!!
Jerry Angelo doesn't need anymore controversy! If the Bears don't do something this year he knows he's gone! T.O. would NOT help Angelo stay here. If Lovie and Angelo don't go to the Super Bowl this year, both are gone! Angelo is smart enough to know T.O. would wreck this very "wreckable" team!
Don't knock Milton Bradley, people. He's the me of MLB.
And no one looks hotter in tight whites and no shirt than TO.
NO ONE
Ok a loon like Owens hangs out with the league leader in interceptions and a tight end who can't block. Quite a 3some
"ooooohhh, noooooooo.... not a Pro-Bowl wide reciever.... whyyyyyy???!!!", said the dumb Bears fan.
With the exception of Johnny, you guys are all a bunch of stupid assholes!! None of you know dick about football! We don't have any good wide recievers retards! Get a fucking clue! T.O. is going to distract defenses like he has all his career, which would open things up even more for Martz's offense... Man, Bears fans are some of the dumbest fans in all of sports!
Just say N-O to T-O!!!
No! No! No! No! No! T.O.
The man is a cancer, much like Bradley was to the Cubs. Talent doesn't always makee a player conducive to the club. Why has he been on 5-6 clubs if he was so good for a team? DO NOT SIGN HIM-BEARS BUT SMITH HAS DONE DUMBER THINGS!
OMG- Chicago just got rid of Milton Bradley-why would you want Mr. Trouble?
/facepalm
Jeeeeez. Stay awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. Pleeeeeeeeease!?
I agree with Johnny. I love the Bears as much as anyone and I know that many of the people in this organization deserve to be criticized, but many of you refuse to look at some of the very good things that haved happened over the past few months. The Bears and their negligent upper management have actually done some very good things this offseason. There are a ton of 'ifs' with this team because many of the componenets are so new, but our roster has been drastically improved and we finally have a real NFL offensive coordinator. There might be a ton to look forward to this season. GO BEARS!
please no.
The only thing that will keep T.O. happy is winning, just like when Rodman was a Bull. With our O-line, there's no way we're winning anything this year. 5-11 if we're lucky and T.O. would be a miserable distraction.
Creighton, are you an idiot? Jay Cutler isn't married nor does he have any kids that he knows of. Olsen is married. Cutler is not. Go back to the kids table before you start ripping people for something they haven't done. I vote NO on TO.
T.O. would be a good addition. Owens is probably a lot calmer after spending last years in Siberian Buffalo and also knowing he doesn't have many years left in the NFL. I think he wants to end his NFL career on a high note and wouldn't cause too many headaches if he was with the Bears. In other words he would be a good soldier and a true big target for Cutler. These days his contracts are on a one year deal basis. And that shouldn't change with the Bears. T.O. is a gamble. At best T.O. would be the Bears' version of Cub Carlos Silva. At worst MB. I won't even say his name. If T.O. acts up it's easy as pie to cut him.
No. Nonononono. Please no. No. Oh god no.
The bears are to lame to sign T.O. Obviously he has calmed down and doesn't expect to be a #1 receiver at this point. THEY NEED T.O. but are way to corny to sign him,it would make too much sense.
No, I'm sure T.O. will turn out differently if he comes to the Bears...just like when Milton Bradley went to Seattle--completely different guy.
Poison. Stay away. If you want everything this coming year to be about T.O. and whether he's happy or not, then by all means, invite him to join the party. I'm sure Cutler will respond well to T.O.'s berating on the sideline.
This isn't going to turn out well
T.O. would be a great addition to the team and just might be the star that puts Cutler on the map. I feels right to me.
Go for it.
ESPN is saying he's at Halas hall today.
Ut oh.....
If he's found a cure for his cancerous mouth. Welcome
noo TO is a tool!!!
TO is coming to the Bears.
Please stay away from our city AND our football team!!
We do not want you here. THere's a good reason why you do not have a team.
GO AWAY!!!!!
Why is Owens in Chicago? And why is he stalking our QB? This is just to weird this is like Tripper/Brando wierd.
I didn't realize that Olsen was a scumbag too.
