Wakeup call: Blackhawks set to face Red Wings

The Blackhawks are set to face off against the rival Red Wings in a rare morning start at the United Center.

Despite the early start, the players don't anticipate any trouble dealing with the disruption of their pregame routines.

"When I was in the minors we used to play 11 o'clock games and 10:30 games and they'd bring out kids from the schools to fill the stands," Hawks winger Patrick Sharp said. "I kind of treat it as a practice. You get up, you have breakfast and you go to the rink like you do every other day. It's a national TV day (so) I think once it starts everybody will be fired up."

The Hawks have won three out of the first four meetings against the Wings this season, including the last three. Sharp (three goals, two assists) and Duncan Keith have led the Hawks against Detroit in 2009-10.

Cristobal Huet will make his third consecutive start overall in goal for the Hawks. The veteran is 2-3-1 with a 2.91 goals-against in seven career games against the Wings.
