Truer words have never been spoken.
Turner took a feed from David Lighty, dribbled past half-court, set his feet and fired a 37-foot jumper over the outstretched hand of Michigan's Stu Douglass. Nothing but net.
The Chicago-born St. Joseph grad held his follow-through until getting mobbed by his Ohio State teammates. The top-seeded Buckeyes had just beaten Michigan 69-68 to advance to play Illinois in the semifinals of the Big Ten tournament on Turner's first-ever buzzer beater.

Turner's shot via bigtennetwork.com:
"I was just trying to put my fingers through the rim," he said of his keeping his right arm outstretched. "And I didn't want to start running around like a little girl."
Michigan rallied from a 51-38 deficit to take a 68-66 lead on a Manny Harris pull-up jumper. Harris, who scored 22 second-half points, helped make life miserable for Turner. The 6-foot-7 forward missed 7 of 8 shots after the break -- until drilling the game-winner.
Turner said he was "surprised" by how Michigan defended him in the final 2.2 seconds: "The whole game they were trapping me and doing all this crazy stuff and then they just lay off me. You know, it's too bad for them."
Michigan coach John Beilein defended his decision by saying that if the Wolverines had double-teamed Turner or played zone, Ohio State might have gotten the ball to him farther down the court.
"A half-court shot is a half-court shot," Beilein said.
Except when it's not actually from half court.
Turner, who finished with teams highs of 18 points and eight assists, said the victory allowed Ohio State to "shake the cobwebs out."
The Buckeyes hadn't played in 10 days, and the rust showed. Or maybe it was just excellent play from Michigan, which handled the ball (eight assists, three turnovers) in the second half far better than Ohio State (four assists, six turnovers).
But none of that mattered after Turner drove a stake through the hearts of the Wolverines.
"It felt like it was floating up there forever," Lighty said of Turner's game-winning shot. "When it went in, I was at a loss for words."
