The Bulls trailed 28-17 to the Orlando Magic at the end of the first period Thursday night.
More troubling was the fact that All-Star guard Derrick Rose was knocked to the floor by Magic center Dwight Howard and sprained his left wrist.
He remained in the game for the final 55 seconds of the first period. But he was taken to the locker room at the end of the quarter. CSN is reporting Rose will have x-rays. He will not return tonight.
Before the game, Rose said he had no fear facing Howard. On Feb. 10 at the United Center, the 6-11 Howard knocked Rose to the floor when the second-year guard drove for a basket. Rose suffered a severe hip injury and had to leave that game.
"After that (incident), I saw him at the All-Star game. There was nothing serious (between them). It was just a basketball thing," said Rose. "Dwight...he's a cool guy. He is just a veteran that you look up to. He does all of the right things. He is marketing himself pretty good, and they are winning right now. So he is doing a good job with everything."

how do you put a product on the floor like im a bulls fan but i refuse to pay my hard earn money to see a organization who already given up on this year and is thinking about next year. Ok, why is this team letting people knock their franchise player down all the time?? There needs to be some hard fouls given by the Bulls. However, it's obvious the Bulls have quit on their coach and the season. Just like I've quit on them now. If they don't care, why should I care to watch??? See you later Vinny.
