Blackhawks senior adviser Scotty Bowman told a Toronto radio station there is no way the Hawks will trade for Florida Panthers goalie Tomas Vokoun before Wednesday afternoon's NHL trade deadline.
Bowman was asked if there was any truth to the rumor the Blackhawks want to upgrade their goaltending, especially in light of Tuesday night's 5-3 loss to the Islanders.

"No," Bowman told Toronto's 590-AM. "[The Blackhawks] are actually laughing about it They've got their goalies in place right now. ... It's impossible to happen. That's something that there's no chance that that would happen."
In Tuesday's loss Blackhawks goalies Antti Niemi and Cristobal Huet allowed four goals on 11 shots in the second period.
The trade deadline is 2 p.m. CDT.

I don't think we are like the Cards. I think we should have been playing Crawford instead of Niemi. But there is still 30min left. Lets see what happens.
This reminds me of the 06/07 Bears committing to Rex Grossman when he was clearly a strong team's weakest link, and a thorn in there side that ultimately lead to their demise down the stretch. Huet has lost all confidence in himself and Niemi has no experience whatsoever. This team is the Arizona Cardinals of the NHL; sure they can try to outscore you but couldn't shut down a decent offense if their life depended on it. Too many games decided in shootouts and with the box scores looking like that of the women's olympic hockey games, I find it hard to believe they will go anywhere in the playoffs with the current core of unreliable crap they call goalies.
Anyone think that Bowman is just playing the media? You really think the Hawks are laughing about it? Come on people. Bowman is smarter then that.
