Northwestern will take on Purdue in the second round Friday. The tip is set for 5:30.
Thompson led a balanced attack with 16 points.Alex Marcotullio hit two huge 3-pointers in the second half and Davide Curletti gave his team some solid minutes after Luka Mirkovic fouled out with 10:43 left in the game.
The most important stat of all, though, was that NU's defense forced 18 turnovers.

Pathetic.
Interesting punctuation on the word "cares" by T Smith. You don't need the apostrophe. T Smith's grammar much like the Indiana offense down the stretch: weak.
GO CATS.
