GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Saturday's split-squad games against the Cubs at Mesa and against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Camelback Ranch will give the White Sox plenty of opportunities to evaluate their young players.

At Mesa, shortstop Juan Silverio and outfielder Kenny Williams Jr. are among the players who are on the Sox's traveling squad. Silverio, 18, received a $625,000 bonus in 2007 and batted .321 with eight home runs with a .366 on-base percentage for the Sox's team in the Dominican Summer League.

Williams, 23, batted .255 at Class-A Kannapolis last season but has been hampered by right shoulder problems. He is the son of Sox general manager Ken Williams.
Former major-league outfielder Brady Clark also is listed on the roster card against the Dodgers.
