Glenview's Brian Hansen, a 2010 Olympic silver medalist in speedskating's team pursuit, ended his junior career with wins in three of the five events at the World Junior All-Around Championships over the weekend in Moscow, Russia.

During the all-around competition, Hansen, 19, won the 500- and 1,500-meter races and finished second in the overall standings.  He was third in the 3,000 and second in the 5,000.

He also won the 1,000 meters, a race held separately from the all-around.

After winning the all-around bronze medal last year, Hansen became the first U.S. man to make the junior all-around podium two straight years since Craig Kessler in 1980.
