Ryan Lilja was released by the Colts, and he is a natural LG. Talk about killing two birds with one stone. We can lock Omiyale into the competition at RT, and get a starting caliber LG that is only 28, and has lots of tread left on the tires. That way we can focus on other positions in the 3rd round of the draft. We can look at a FS, or RB, or WR, or DE, or DT, or we can stay on our original plan and draft a G and C of the future to eventually replace Garza and Kreutz.

I would almost be ok with going after Lilja and forgetting about the safety position in free agency. Atogwe and Lilja? I would be ecstatic...
