The Fire beat FC Dallas 3-0. The victory improves the Fire to 3-1-1 in the 2010 preseason.
In the 33rd minute, Fire forward Collins John broke away from the FC Dallas defense. The big forward charged on goal, rounded FC Dallas goalkeeper Dario Sala and slotted a slow-rolling shot into the back of the FC Dallas net.
Marco Pappa and Julio Martinez scored in the second half for the Fire. Patrick Nyarko provided two assists and Fire goalkeeper Jon Busch, with six saves, provided the defense.
