Bolingbrook advances to 5th straight 4A title game

NORMAL, Ill. -- Bolingbrook advanced to its fifth straight state championship game with a 56-30 win over Hersey in Friday's Class 4A semifinal at Redbird Arena.

Morgan Tuck scored 28 points, including 19 in the second half, and had 12 rebounds to lead the Raiders. Her sister, Taylor Tuck, had eight points and eight rebounds.

Bolingbrook will play the winner of the semifinal between Young and Fenwick.

After Hersey cut Bolingbrook's lead to five points on a Maddie Swan basket with 5 minutes, 18 seconds to play in the third quarter, the Raiders went on a 14-2 run to take a 46-29 lead with 6:09 left.

Maddie Swan had 12 points for Hersey. Megan Rogowski, Hersey's career scoring leader, made 1 of 18 field goals and had seven points.
