ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Tomas Kopecky had two goals, Ben Eager a goal and two assists and Antti Niemi was strong in goal as the Blackhawks snapped their three-game losing skid with a 4-0 victory over the Wild.

Niemi made 21 saves to record his seventh shutout of the season as the Hawks won for just the third time in their last 10 games.

WOW. another shutout for Niemi keep him in there Q, sorry Huet you need to sit and watch that kid battle a little bit longer.

I want to congratulate the Hawks for two things this evening.

1. The fact that they actually won a game for a change.

2. They crossed the 100 point mark for the second straight season. The last time that happened was with those great Hawks teams in 1970-71 and 1971-72.
