Blackhawks ink minor-league defenseman

The Blackhawks signed defenseman Ryan Stanton to a three-year, entry-level contact. The deal will begin at the start of the 2010-11 season.

The 20-year-old Stanton has 10 goals and 30 assists in 57 games with the Moose Jaw of the Western Hockey League this season.
