One day after conceding he probably won't be 100 percent for the remainder of the season because of plantar fasciitis in his left foot, Joakim Noah took part in limited portions of the Bulls' non-contact practice Tuesday.

"He went through some up-and-down stuff," coach Vinny Del Negro said after the workout at the Berto Center. "He was sore, but he felt better this morning than he did (Monday) night. So that was a good sign.

"There wasn't a lot of contact in practice. There was a lot of skeleton stuff and 5-on-0 stuff and we went over some defensive stuff."

Relayed Noah's postgame comments from Washington, in which the third-year big man basically pleaded for the chance to play through pain and log more than the 10-12 minutes he's getting, Del Negro preached caution.

"We want him out there more," Del Negro said. "It's just he's not healthy. His foot is healing as fast as it can. It's frustrating for him. But he has to keep getting his rest and therapy and hopefully it will improve."

Noah took 1-3/4 years to get into NBA shape! In his third year he came to camp in shape for the first time and after 1/2 of a season he out with a bad foot.

All along I thougth that Noah was lazy. Maybe he has had bad feet all this time?

Paxson the trainee, should be looking for a replacement for Noah. One fragile over paid player like Deng is enough.

Hey VDN, his foot would heal faster with rest. Enough with this 15 minutes a game, rest him!
