Bulls great Scottie Pippen and two-time NBA MVP Karl Malone are finalists for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
Pippen's Bulls beat and Malone's Utah Jazz in the 1997 and '98 NBA finals, but the two also were teammates on the 1992 Olympic Dream Team, which is a finalist in the team category along with the 1960 gold medalists led by Jerry West and Oscar Robertson.

The 19 finalists were announced Friday at the start of the NBA's
All-Star weekend. The class of 2010 will be announced on April 5 in
Indianapolis before the NCAA championship game.

From the International Screening Committee: coach Vladimir Kondrashin and Brazilian legend Maciel "Ubiratan" Pereira. Richard Guerin and Gus Johnson represent the nominees from the Veteran's Screening Committee.
