MESA, Ariz. -- Tom, Todd, Laura and Pete Ricketts will be on hand Friday morning for the opening of ticket sales at Wrigley Field, greeting fans in line with coffee and Dunkin Donuts.
The new Cubs owners will be available to address fans' questions about everything from the new bathrooms to Lou Piniella's future.
Tickets go on sale at the box office at 8 a.m., with a random wristband system being used again. Wristbands are available at Wrigley until 10 tonight.
Fans hoping to get through the phone lines Friday can call 1-800-The-Cubs, beginning at 10 a.m., while the virtual waiting room for Internet sales opens at 9:30 a.m. at the Cubs' Web site.

I love how you are so worked up over a nothing issue! So were you up this morning voicing your concern to the Ricketts family at Wrigley, or were you sleeping off a hangover? Based on your rambling post, I would guess hangover.
And by the way, are you the same guy who called Boers & Bernstein last year? You know, steak dinner BOOM?
A doug Stfu Douchebag.I cant believe you even asked that question. The answer is YES its been 101 years YES EVERYTHING THEY DO SHOULD BE SOMETHIN TO HELP THE CUBS WIN THE WORLD SERIES.Nobody cares about wrigleyville luxury suites and buildings and all that BS.Its people who want to see them win before they Die.
So every single thing they do has to be something to help the Cubs win the World Series? So if the headline read "Ricketts family to appear at children's hospital to read to sick children" you jerks would be on here crying "What does that do to help the Cubs win?" At least they appear to be accessible and interested in the fans. How many times did you see Trib executives around the park? Everyone needs to just calm down and stop getting all worked up over the stupidest stuff!
And the other ridiculous thing is, all of you have no problem coming on here to whine and complain. However, the article tells you where they will be in public and when, so why not save your whining and complaining for the Ricketts family themselves? Any jerk with a keyboard can come on here and cry about anything they want, but since you know exactly where and when the Ricketts will be, why not get off your butt, head down to Wrigley, and tell them your thoughts in person? Or do you only feel safe expressing yourself through the safety and anonymity of the internet?
this family does not get it and has no clue how to run a ballclub.
gee thanks for the pretty toilets and serving me a 10 dollar beer Tom.
For once I agree with you moto, this is a completely pointless gesture.
PETE SANTOS NEVER FORGETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have all the tickets I need and will be happy to sell them to Cubs fans all year once I add my small surcharge. Enjoy! Go Cubs!
And this will help the cubs win zero games this year. The ricketts family are CORNBALLS.
