Kansas is No. 1 again in the Associated Press' college basketball poll, and for those looking ahead to potential NCAA tournament seeding, the Big Ten now has four teams in the top 16.

The Jayhawks (20-1) were No. 1 in the preseason Top 25 and for the first eight weeks of the regular season. They moved back into the top spot Monday, replacing Kentucky (19-1), which fell to fourth after losing at South Carolina last week. Villanova and Syracuse moved up one place to second and third.

Michigan State (19-3) remained at No. 5, Purdue (18-3) moved up two spots to No. 8, Ohio State (16-6) rose to No. 13 (from No. 20) and Wisconsin (16-5) remained at No. 16.
