CHAMPAIGN -- In a thrilling back-and-forth game, Illinois got its biggest win of the season Saturday night against Michigan State, with a 78-73 victory that came down to the final seconds at Assembly Hall.
The Illini got a big night from Demetri McCamey and Mike Davis. McCamey who hit a huge 3-pointer to put Illini up five late. Davis had 16 points, and blocked Michigan State's Durrell Summers' 3-point attempt as the Spartans attempted to tie the game in the closing seconds.
Davis dunked in the last two points as fans rushed the court in celebration as the Illini closed out a much-needed victory.

Good show Illini!! Too bad the Tribune does not consider the victory worthy of a full story. The sports staff must think the Illini are in Idaho o0r someplace other than downstate Illinois.
Grammar, sir. Grammar. It helps get your conspiracy theory laden points across.
