Illinois completes football coaching-staff revamp

The Illinois football staff is finally complete.

After making an overhaul on his assistant coaching positions, head coach Ron Zook added Ron West, who had previously coached at Tulsa as the defensive coordinator. From 2004-08, he was linebackers coach at Clemson.

His position at Illinois is yet to be determined.

Zook also announced tight ends coach Greg Nord as recruiting coordinator and offensive line coach Joe Gilbert as assistant head coach.
