INDIANAPOLIS --- With Tyrus Thomas making several productive plays down the stretch, the Bulls rallied from an early fourth-quarter deficit to pull back to .500 with a 109-101 victory over the Pacers Tuesday night at Conseco Fieldhouse.
In his first game back from serving a team-imposed suspension, Thomas finished with nine points and seven rebounds in 27 minutes.
The Bulls got huge games from Luol Deng (14 of his 23 points in the first quarter and also 11 rebounds), John Salmons (21 points off the bench) and Derrick Rose, who overcame five turnovers with 21 points and seven assists.
Danny Granger's 27 points led the Pacers.
