Bulls guard Derrick Rose will be replaced by Golden State's Anthony Morrow on the sophomore roster for the Rookie Challenge game to be played Friday, Feb. 12, in advance of the NBA All-Star Game in Dallas.
Rose was excused from the Challenge after being named to the Eastern Conference roster for the Feb. 14 All-Star Game. He also will defend his title in the Skills Challenge on All-Star Saturday Night against Brandon Jennings of the Bucks, Steve Nash of the Suns and Deron Williams of the Jazz.
Morrow is averaging 11.5 points and 3.6 rebounds in 36 games for the Warriors.
