Blackhawks lead 2-0 over Blues after two periods

ST. LOUIS -- Unlike their two previous games -- both of which they lost -- the Blackhawks haven't lost their intensity after taking an early lead.

The Hawks hold a 2-0 lead over the Blues after two periods Saturday night at Scottrade Center. They have played solid defense and have kept the pressure on as they seek to snap their three-game losing skid.

Patrick Sharp and Jonathan Toews had first-period goals and Antti Niemi has been strong in goal, stopping all 25 Blues shots thus far.
