More Breaking Sports:

Bears haven't hired Ruskell -- yet

A report that said the Bears have hired Tim Ruskell to be their director of player personnel is not accurate, according to a highly placed source.

Not yet, anyway.

The report might be more premature than outright false. Ruskell likely will be hired, probably in the very near future. It would make sense to have in place before the scouting combine kicks off on Thursday.

The Bears learned in 1999 about the dangers of announcing a hiring before it is official when they thought they had Dave McGinnis in place to be their head coach. Word leaked that McGinnis had been hired--except no deal had been struck. McGinnis was offended with how the situation had been handled, and subsequently backed out.

Ruskell stepped down from his role as president of the Seahawks late last season when it became apparent the team was not intending to bring him back in 2010. He worked with Bears general manager Jerry Angelo for 13 years; the two were the primary architects of the Bucs teams that Tony Dungy and Jon Gruden led to postseason success.

The Bears recently fired pro personnel director Bobby DePaul. If he is hired, Ruskell is expected to oversee the pro department as well as the college department, and the Bears likely will name another pro personnel director to replace DePaul.

Bringing in Timmmy! will insure the Bears some high drafts picks for the 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and beyond. And those players will suck! He is one of the worst.

WAIT A MINUTE!!! This is the same Tim Ruskell that brought in Jim Mora Jr. to replace Holmgren because he didn't want to extended his contract, right? The same Tim Ruskell who didn't want to pay Steve Hutchinson but gave a contract extension to Josh Brown, a kicker. Who is running da Bears organization these days, a bunch of retards?!?! COME ON!! DO SOME RESEARCH AND UNDERSTAND THE GAME OF FOOTBALL, McCASKEYS!!!!

The clear problem with Bears Management is that all they do is hire their friends and family members instead of the best person to do the job.

Listening to sports radio, a beat writer for the Seahawks
said that Ruskell was a flop and that he was arrogant too.

He should fit right in with Jerry the Dope and Lovie the Mope!

No-Shows and the non-renwal of tickets will wake up Halas'
daughter. The defense is a mess and Martz will take 3 years to implement his complex system. 6 wins??????

Let us hope that Ruskill, if he is to be hired, is not another proponent of the low-ceiling/high-basement player, a staple in Jerry Angelo's commitment to .500 or worse football.
