NU looking to involve big men vs. Pan American

By Teddy Greenstein

Greetings from Welsh-Ryan Arena, where an overflow crowd is not expected to witness the 1-15 Texas-Pan American Broncs (yes, the Broncs) take on Northwestern, which looks to end a two-game losing skid. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.

The 10-3 Wildcats are also aiming for their school-record 12th non-conference win.

Texas-Pan American has two locals on its roster, by the way: guard Julius Hearn (Lincoln Park High School) and forward Matt Mierzycki (Glenbrook South).

Northwestern will consider this game a success if it wins comfortably and gets its big men in the offensive flow.
