Panthers round out Bears' 2010 schedule

By Brad Biggs

The Bears' 2010 schedule was set Sunday when Atlanta beat Tampa Bay and clinched second place in the NFC South. That put Carolina in third place and means the Panthers will host the Bears next season.

The Bears lost at Carolina 20-17 during the 2008 season. In 2005, they beat the Panthers 13-3 at home during the regular season but were upset at home in the playoffs, 29-21.

Here is how the Bears' 2010 opponents shape up:

Home: Philadelphia, Washington, New England, New York Jets, Seattle, Detroit, Green Bay, Minnesota.

Away: Dallas, New York Giants, Buffalo, Miami, Detroit, Green Bay, Minnesota, Carolina.

The bears can't beat a real team, it's about time the bears fans realize that. They beat the Vikings last year because it was a sympathy win. Haha. You Bears fans... I'm saddened you couldn't choose a real team that backed up what they said. and pat on the back to jay cutler.. was that a joke to the world to get him and think your team could succeed? try getting an offensive line too. And you need some more better defense. The bears didn't finish even in the top 15, in anything. Two of your wins are givens because of the Lions, it's just gonna be another sub 500 year again for bears. good job losers.

bears will be in the playoffs with a record of 12 and 4 they picked up a new offensive coordinator if we get rid of orlando pace who is big for nuthing and get a dependeble wide reciever and use hester in the slot and forte running the ball i rest this season in the hands of Jay Cutler whom made mistakes last year but will learn from them superbowl maybe not but playoffs.

mofojones, you are da man. u must be from alabama where they dont even have a team except whatever college team they have anyways not important.Chicago Bears 2010-2011 will finish at least 9-7. They did blow out detroit both games with 70% of there starters out almost beat philly who went to the playoffs again with 70% of there starters out. Beat the super bowl champs and oh yeah beat da vikings in ot again with 70& of there starters being out. But u r da man mofo.

Wow!!!!, you guys are great fans. I were a player I would let you have it. But everyone is intitled to their opinion. Anything can happen, I believe they will have a better year than this one. We are bears fan who love our team..

Yes we are playing the entire NFC East and the entire AFC East. Just like this year we played the entire NFC West and the entire AFC North. Each team plays two games against each team from their own division, one game against each team from two other divisions (one AFC, one NFC), and one game against two opponents based on records. The two "random" teams the Bears play in 2010 are Seattle and Carolina. lrn2footballnubs

A home game against New England. Can't wait to see a totally healed Urlacher and Briggs drive prettyboy Brady into the grass.

What are we playing the entire NFC East in our schedule?

IT APPEARS THE BRONCOS WILL BE LOOKING FOR A NEW QB IN THE DRAFT, ORTON AS MOST RATIONALE FOLKS KNOW, IS TERRIBLE.

BEARS WILL FINISH NEXT YEAR WITH 6-8 WINS -- THAT IS NOT PROGRESS

LOVIE SMITH IS DELUSIONAL

Talk about lopsided schedules. Wrong !!!

The NFL scheduling process requires us to play all teams of each division of both conferences in a pre-determined schedule. In the NFC we play the east div every three years as we did in 2007 and will in 2013, 2016 ect. In the AFC we play the east div every four years as we did in 2006 and will in 2014, 2018 ect. Strength of performance will fill out the reaming four games.

In 2010 we will go 5-10, unless they rebuild the offensive and defensive lines, and get a quality wide receiver and put Hester as full time kick returner and use him on offense only about 15 plays

Talk about lopsided schedules.

- The Bears play all 3 New York teams, but only 1 west coast team (Seattle).

- The Bear's only game west of the Mississippi River will be at Dallas.

- Only 3 of 16 games will be played in warm climate (Dallas, Carolina, Miami).

the NFL should consider geographical diversity. One step would be not pairing a team against the same division in both coferences in the same season. If the Bears have to play the NFC East, then they should play the AFC West to balance out the schedule, as well as the type of football teams they'll play against.

So far it looks like the Bears won't accrue enough frequent flier miles to earn free tickets.

Yeah, looks like 4-11 to me.

Ok,Ok I stand corrected my apologies.Erroneous reporting on my part. The bears will still go 4-12 and suck next year.Lovie will get overmatched by REAL coaches like belicheck, shanahan(washington),andy reid, john fox,rex ryan.HAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHA This is great I love it.God bless the schedule makers

LOL @ People making aliases of me I'm a star Bonafied STAR.NO PAL.Bears gave up 2011 1st rounder too.I might be wrong lemme check my sources. And no the bears will go 4-12 they will beat Detroit once, buffalo, seattle and washington maybe so 3-13 most likely 4-12.SORRY Bears fans it's gonna be a loooong season.

To Moto:

We gave Den our 2010 1st rd pick, not 2011!

I changed my mind.

Bears could easily take on the viqueens and fatckers next season. Bears will go 13-3.

HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAAA

4-12 Here they come chicago bears will go 4-12 or 5-11 in 2010.They gotta Face REAL TEAMS.Do you understand??
