Brad Miller, Taj Gibson and Joakim Noah all sat out Sunday's Bulls practice, the first at the Berto Center since Jan. 17.
Miller is nursing a sore knee, while Gibson and Noah continue to battle plantar fasciitis in their feet. Coach Vinny Del Negro said all absences were precautionary and all three players are expected to play Tuesday against the Clippers.
That will be the Bulls' first home game since becoming the first team in NBA history to win five straight road games against teams with winning records on the same trip.

I like the "first NBA team ... tec." thing - it's a neat example of the absurdity of sports trivia. I'm impressed by what the Bulls did, but there aren't many road-trips in NBA of 5+ games, and even fewer that have the road-tripping team visit five above .500 teams in a row. Meaning, there's not exactly many opportunities to replicate this Bulls "feat".
Title of this piece is misleading....it implies that they bailed..."sit out" would be more appropriate. You get a D- in composition.
