The Bears will be represented by about 60 members of the organization Friday at the funeral for Gaines Adams in Easley, S.C., from front-office members to coaches, players and support staff.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Gaines' former team, also will be well-represented at the 1 p.m. Eastern time services at Rock Springs Baptist Church. The Bucs have chartered a plane to transport coach Raheem Morris, other coaches, members of the front office and players.
Adams, who died Sunday of cardiac arrest, was the fourth overall draft pick in 2007 by the Buccaneers and was traded to the Bears in October.

Adams is the fourth teammate that Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has
played with who died too young. Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams was
shot and killed Jan. 1, 2007, in Denver. Fifty-five days later, Broncos
running back Damien Nash died of heart failure after a charity
basketball game he organized in Missouri.
Kwame Doster, a Vanderbilt running back who was the first Commodore to be named the Southeastern Conference's freshman of the year, was shot and killed in Tampa, Fla., on Dec. 26, 2004.
Cutler was supportive of the Darrent Williams Teen Center, which was constructed in Denver as a tribute to the player and a way to help area kids.
