Marian Hossa practiced with the Blackhawks on Wednesday and is scheduled to play against the Blue Jackets on Thursday night at the United Center.
The veteran winger missed Sunday night's 3-1 loss to the Ducks with a lower-body injury, but was back skating on a line with Patrick Sharp and Andrew Ladd during a nearly hour-long practice at the UC.
Cristobal Huet will make the start in goal. It will be his first appearance since coughing up a four-goal, third-period lead in the Hawks' 6-5 shootout loss in Minnesota on Saturday night.
"I looked at the tape (and) looked at the things I could have done better," Huet said. "Basically know what you did well and what you did wrong and try to bounce back and have a good game (Thursday).

"Today we had a good, intense practice, almost an hour long," Huet added. "It's good for (Thursday). We're going to be be prepared to play a high-paced, high-tempo game."
Said coach Joel Quenneville: "Goalies all like that chance of getting the net back as quickly as possible. I think everybody should be excited about playing (Thursday) night.
Cam Barker, sidelined the last four games with an upper-body injury, participated in practice but Quenneville said "we'll see" regarding the defenseman playing against the Blue Jackets.
