Staff report
Representatives from the group trying to lure the Cubs' spring-training headquarters to Florida will meet at 1 p.m. (Chicago time) today with the Naples Daily News' editorial board.
They are scheduled to review the proposal they presented to the Cubs, which would include construction of a 15,000 seat Wrigley Field replica, accompanying spring training facilities, a commercial district called "WrigleyVillage" and a Class A minor-league Cubs affiliate.
The Cubs are weighing a proposal from Mesa, Ariz., their current spring-training home, to improve the existing facilities.
