Now calling plays for the Houston Texans, Grossman, 29, closed on the sale of the 3,437-square-foot unit Wednesday. The buyer is not yet identified in public records.
Grossman purchased the two-bedroom Trump unit in September 2008 for $2.681 million. Less than a year later, after the Bears informed him that he was not in their plans for 2009, Grossman signed with the Texans and then placed the unit on the market for $2.349 million.

He later
reduced its asking price to 2.295 million. Features in the unit
include Snaidero cabinetry, upgraded appliances, his-and-hers baths,
hardwood floors and two parking spaces.
Grossman continues to own a three-bedroom town home in Lake Forest, which he currently has on the market for $849,000.

Grossman was along for the ride to the Superbowl, anyone who says he got them there obviously didn't watch any of the games. Special Teams and Defense won 6 of their games that year for them. Not Rex Grossman, Not Lovie and Ron's offense. It was special teams and defense that made that a Superbowl season. Then they fire Ron Rivera and the team has been down hill and getting worse every year... Grossman and Orton are good QBs or they wouldn't be a QB in the NFL. But how is a QB supposed to flourish when your coaches can't even figure out who is better? So the coaching staff just lets them go head to head and they keep their fingers crossed that one of them does better than the other one enough to justify making him their starter. Bears have no idea what to do with QB talent. They make the QB play and do what they want instead of tinkering with the offense and tailoring it to suit the QB's strengths and weaknesses. They finally picked up on this the end of this year and guess what? We saw much much better games from Cutler when he was running out of the pocket and throwing on the run. WHICH IS HIS STRENGTH. The Bears are guilty of wasting a year of Jay Cutlers career with a bullshit offense. Not to mention Angelo, Smith and Turner learned this year that it takes a lot more than a good QB to make a good offense. This is taught in football 101. Who know's if Orton or Grossman will ever reach their full potential or if Cutler will with the Bears. But if you try to compare all three, just isolate their Bears season numbers. Maybe, just maybe Grossman and Orton are better than Cutler but the world will never know because they all were ruined by Lovie Smith and Ron Turner... Chicago, QB killing town. Mushin Muhammed was right when he said WR's come here to die. Not to mention, if Angelo and Smith are so confident in their players talent, than why are they not performing better? Coaching.. coaching.. coaching.. In my opinion you can't objectively judge any of the players that have come through the Bears under Lovie or Angelo because those two Jack-Asses are clueless. Cedric Benson, Thomas Jones, Columbo, and that list goes on and on...
I don't feel bad for any athlete who lsoes big-time on an expensive house in which they should not have bought in the first place. They have all turned into a bunch of over=paid, pampered, cry babies. It stems from Sports Agents ruining professional sports. I hope those slimballs will burn in sports hell along with the greedy owners.
Tell me what Rex has done with the Texans? Nothing, that's what?
Rex is our QB, we will go from there!
Signed
Lovie Smith.
Hey let's give Trent Dilfer a call. He won a Super Bowl, therefore, to some of the geniuses posting, he is good.
Correct?
So let me get this straight...
The guy who threw for 400 more yards, 4 more touchdowns and had an over 60% completion with no running game, no O-line and nothing resembling an offensive threat is worse than a guy who got to the Super Bowl with a record setting return man, a top five defense, and a top ten running game.
Really? Grossman is better than Cutler? Really?
Puh-lease. Give the guy a couple seasons before running him out of town. He's already broke passing records for the Bears. Grossman helped us lose the Superbowl. Next.
Cutler has been to a Pro Bowl, and was forced to deal with a Bears team that had zero running game and worse receivers and a mediocre defense. Yet, in every category, Cutler put up better numbers than Grossman.
I can assure you that if Cutler had Moose, Berrian, Thomas Jones and a defense that kept the team in games, he would have put up far superior numbers than the meltdown season Grossman had at the end.
Did anyone see Grossman's first pass this year? Interception......that was Vintage Grossman.
Why print this story? No one cares if he lost money on his condo. Report actual Bears news please.
GO BEARS!!!!

There is no need for dat kinda language.
Only a moron would suggest Grossman is "a lot better" than Cutler.
Too bad the bears dont know how to take a loss with Lovie
