SAN ANTONIO -- The Bulls only trail the Spurs 71-70 after three quarters, but the way they ended doesn't bode well.
Tyrus Thomas allowed an offensive rebound that led to Manu Ginobili's 3-pointer from directly in front of the Bulls' bench. For good measure, James Johnson then committed an offensive foul at the other end.
The Spurs are hurting the Bulls on the offensive boards, tallying 15 second-chance points through three quarters.
Ton Parker's 16 points and seven assists leads the Spurs. Antonio McDyess, one of those wreaking havoc on the glass, has 10 points off the bench.
Kirk Hinrich's 18 points and Derrick Rose's 16 leads the Bulls, who are shooting 52.5 percent.
