Brother: Favre 'beat all to hell'; future uncertain

favrebattered-ap.JPGThe Minneapolis Star Tribune reports: Brett Favre's older brother, Scott, said the Vikings quarterback was "beat all to hell" by the Saints and won't be making a decision on his future any time soon.

"He was beat up physically and mentally," Scott Favre said. "He was emotionally drained. Physically, he hurt both wrists, both ankles, one leg, head bruised. He was beat all to hell.

"It's such a tough loss that if he made a decision right now it wouldn't be one with a clear mind. I think he needs to get away from it. As beat up as he was emotionally, physically, he couldn't make the right decision or a clear decision right then."

"He was beat all to hell."

It couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Glad to see it.

Funny how the whole sports world has gone all nasty on Mark McGwire for making an apparently bogus excuse for using steroids, but no one in the media is calling BS on Pat and Kevin Williams for their flimsy excuse for having a banned substance in their bloodstream. Seems like a double-standard to me.

Good thing Pat's retiring...more roids for Kevin and the rest of the Vi-queens.

Not only should Favre retire, but also the rest of the NFC North, excluding the Bears. Then maybe someone might want to work as our offensive coordinator, and we'd have a shot at the division!

Go take some Vicodins and stay away forever.

is he on the Bears? NO.
So please - no more stories. It doesn't matter. I don't care, nor should anyone else around Chicago.

Not another 6 months of this crap...

Shut...up
