The Blackhawks will dedicate the proceeds from their 50/50 raffle during tonight's game against the Blue Jackets at the United Center to the Haiti Relief Fund, which will assist in the relief efforts following Tuesday's devastating earthquake.
Also, throughout tonight's game the team will hold announcements and Jumbotron messages encouraging fans to text "Haiti" to 90999 to donate $10 to the American Red Cross to help relief efforts..

Henry... the Hawks are making corporate donation. This particualr effort is a chance for you and I, the fans having a good ole time despite what is going on in other parts of the World, to donate via the raffle or directly via your phone. While your calling out the Wirtz family and the organization... take some time to look at yourself instead of others... any amount helps.
NOw, don't get me worng....but the proceeds of the 50/50 raffle???? If they're lucky, the most they would get is $10k, and I know the Blackhawks organization can do better than that.
