In what may be the only big change at Halas Hall no one predicted, Brad Biggs, the Chicago Sun-Times' lead reporter on the Bears beat, abruptly quit today to join the rival Tribune with four games left in the season.
Biggs will team with Tribune football correspondents Vaughn McClure and Dan Pompei covering the Bears, effective immediately.

The best part of this trade between the Sun-Times and Tribune is the unmentioned part.
No more David Haugh covering the Bears!!!
Wow! With Briggs joining Pompei, the Trib will have cornered the market on pusillanimous pinheads paid a pretty penny to do a job they have no clue how to do properly. A capital achievement indeed!
Biggs is a very good reporter. I always check out his info on the Bears. Good move Tribune.
