The NFL dipped into the pocket of another Bear as a result of foul play last Sunday.
Cornerback Charles Tillman received a $5,000 fine for a major facemask in a 31-7 loss to the Ravens. He was not penalized on the play.
Maybe this was a makeup call, because Tillman did not get fined for a facemask penalty in the Bears' 17-9 win over the Rams three games ago.
Tillman joined right tackle Kevin Shaffer, who also received a $5,000 fine for a major facemask against the Ravens. Shaffer said he plans to appeal the fine.
