Longtime Kelly aide interviews with Buffalo

The Buffalo News reports: Cincinnati offensive coordinator Jeff Quinn interviewed for the vacant Buffalo head coaching job Monday, throwing an interesting twist into Brian Kelly's plans to fill out a staff at Notre Dame.

Quinn, who has coached with Kelly for 22 seasons, was widely expected to join the new Irish staff once he coached Cincinnati through the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1. If Quinn gets the Buffalo gig, that leaves Kelly without a trusted aide, coordinator and offensive line coach all in one.
