The New York Times reports: A doctor who treated Tiger Woods and hundreds of other professional athletes is under investigation by the FBI and suspected of providing athletes with performance-enhancing drugs.
Dr. Anthony Galea, the team doctor for the Canadian Football League Toronto Argonauts with a reputation among athletes for speeding injury recovery time with a blood-spinning technique, was arrested by Canadian police in Toronto on Oct. 15. Human growth hormone and Actovegin, a drug extracted from calf's blood, were found in his medical bag in September when his assistant was stopped at the U.S.-Canadian border, the Times reports.
Dr. Galea told the Times he treated Woods four times after the golfer's 2008 knee surgery.

As a fashion man, I have been casually following men’s shoe fashions because our men who come here have largely been ignored. I wanted to tell every one that we also love fashion shoes. When the crap hits the wall alot starts to stick doesn't it? As I have always said Woods is not the cleanest athlete around. Can't be put on that high of pedestal beacause no one is that good without some flaws. Modern chemicals do wonders, just too bad no test for HGH. Sooner or later he will get what is coming to him. Nike had better watch out, they have put alot of their eggs in his basket. What has come out does reflect on them.
Tiger was one of the first guys to say players should be tested for steroids. Of course he didn't say anything about HGH though.
WAKE up people. The guy is one of the richest people in the USA, the northern hemisphere and one of the top 25 in the world. He will do almost anything to compete at the highest level and check out his training regime. Like someone said about BONDS, it make him bigger, stronger and maybe faster BUT he still have to hit the little ball !
It seems like everyone is piling on and I am not a huge golf fan. I never idolized the guy (maybe the lifestyle)! He is not a hero kids should look up to.
For those who say, just leave him alone, it sounds like it was a little more than a domestic dispute. That is why the police are involved. I just hope that this will be a one time event that will fade into the public memory.
Maybe Tiger's legendary tournament temper ( cursing, throwing clubs, etc.)is greater than any other pro golfer because his use of roid like drugs is greater than any other pro golfer!

An important point should be made in this discussion and there are a few online sources that will verify it. The PGA Tour's testing policy ONLY includes urine samples to test for anabolic steroids. They do not include blood samples, so there is no way that HGH could or would be detected. Gary Player mentioned that many of the Top 10 players in the world were using HGH, he specifically said HGH since steroids would be detected in the testing. He clearly was trying to put more pressure on the PGA Tour to include this in their drug testing policy.
Hence, the only way Tiger could potentially be implicated is thru this disgraced doctor. Just having his name associated with this guy isn't going to help matters.
I said this over a year ago that he came back too soon and in too great of shape from surgery if he didn't have help from something other than his exercise routine. The man is built like a line backer and do you see anyother golfer with a build like his? No way, Jose! Sort of reminds you of A-Rod doesn't he. HGH helps shorten recovery and increases ability to do more than normal exercises. I have been wondering how many times Woods has been tested in last 2-3 years. A surprise test not one that he knows is coming. Wopuld be verrrrry interesting.....;..
The same lame comments when someone first claimed baseball players were on steriods. Any objective person could have come to the conclusion that CHEATER woods was on steriods. The guys frame was just too skinny to become what it became in less than a year. Any body who has ever workout would know this.
The idiocy of these comments is unreal. Wake up, there has been a long history of speculation that Tiger's ripped physique had more to do with what he ingested as opposed to his legendary workout regimen. The main reason why speculation was killed in the past was due to his squeaky clean image and the risk of taking on the Tiger Woods empire and the surefire wrath of his handlers.
