SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Marcus Jordan will have a special fan in attendance for the Central Florida-Notre Dame game, which tips shortly after 11 a.m. -- his old man.
But Michael Jordan will not have a Spike Lee-quality seat for the game. Notre Dame offered Jordan a seat behind the UCF bench, but Jordan chose a spot high above center court, in an auxiliary press box.
Jordan travels with a security guard and likes to remain in the shadows, according to a person who follows the UCF team.
Marcus Jordan, who graduated from Whitney Young, is a freshman averaging 17.1 minutes per game for the 6-1 Knights.
