Michael Phelps says he feels sorry for Tiger Woods and his family because of the scrutiny resulting from the golfer's admitted infidelity.
Phelps, speaking in Manchester, England, where he is competing in the "Duel in the Pool" swim meet, says he wishes Woods and his family well.
Phelps won a record eight Olympic golds in Beijing and was photographed three months later inhaling from a marijuana pipe. He says he'd "be the first to admit I've made a lot of mistakes, both in and out of the pool."

Here is another athlete feeling sorry for Woods. Why is it that they come out of the wood work when something happens to one of their brethern? Can't they just admit they screwed up and now they have to pay the price but these prima donna athletes must show concern for one of their cohorts. I would like to see an athlete have enough ba-ls to say it like it is. Woods screwed up and he must pay the price. Tough Sh-t!
