Devin Hester is questionable for Monday's game with the Minnesota Vikings but it looks like the wide receiver will miss his third consecutive game with a left calf muscle strain.
Hester was limited in practice today in the Walter Payton Center, and although he came back to practice on Wednesday, he's yet to have full participation.
"Devin was able to do a little bit,'' coach Lovie Smith said, as good of a hint as any that Hester will not go.
The Bears (5-9) don't have a pressing need to get Hester on the field. He hasn't been cleared for a complete return to practice, and the forecast is for the game-time temperature to be near 20.
That means Devin Aromashodu will likely get another chance to start. He has been a popular outlet for Jay Cutler the last two weeks, being targeted for 22 passes. Aromashodu delivered vs. Green Bay but caught just two passes for 10 yards at Baltimore and three passes directed to him were intercepted.
If Hester is out, there is a chance the team could make rookie third-round draft pick Juaquin Iglesias active for the first time. Smith praised Iglesias' work in practice last week but he's been caught in a numbers crunch.
