The Bears were banged up even more than expected during Wednesday's practice, but the extra day of preparation for Monday night's game against the Vikings should give them plenty of time to heal.
Coach Lovie Smith said he held left tackle Chris Williams out with an ankle injury, while tight end Desmond Clark was ill and missed practice.
The Bears were without linebacker Lance Briggs (back) and safeties Al Afalava (knee) and Kevin Payne (ankle). Devin Hester returned to practice off a calf strain, but was limited. Defensive tackle Tommie Harris (knee) and left tackle Orlando Pace (groin) were limited as well.
