Ex-Cubs outfielder Jacque Jones wants back in

jjones.JPGMLB.com reports: If the Cubs unload Milton Bradley and find themselves in need of another outfielder, there's a familiar name who still thinks he can play.

Jacque Jones, who didn't play in the majors last season after being released by the Reds at the end of spring training, plans to lobby general managers for another shot at next week's winter meetings in Indianapolis. Jones, 34, played for the Cubs in 2006-07.

"He has a lot of baseball left in his body, and he's looking for a team, hoping to make them look like geniuses," agent Damon Lapa said of Jones, who played for the independent Newark Bears in 2009.

keep jones out i love my cubs he sucks

I'm not sure teams need a guy to ground out to 2nd 77% of the time.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Jones one of the guys that used to say there are racists in the bleachers, and also 'unfair' treatment by the fans(i.e excessive booing and such)?
I doubt he would play for the Cubs again, for any amount, even though he was a decent player.
