Erin Andrews plans to be in a Los Angeles courtroom today when an Illinois man accused of secretly filming her nude enters an expected guilty plea to stalking.

A hearing is set for this afternoon for insurance executive Michael David Barrett, of Westmont, to enter the plea. Andrews' attorney, Marshall Grossman, says the ESPN sideline reporter will attend and may call for a tougher sentence against Barrett.

Prosecutors have agreed to seek a 27-month prison sentence against Barrett, but he faces up to five years in federal prison and a fine of $250,000.

Barrett is suspected of renting hotel rooms next to Andrews three times and shooting two videos of her. He is accused of posting the videos online.

This guy gives scumbags a bad name. I think he deserves every bit of 5 years in jail for what he did to that poor woman. Speaking of which, she's hot.

I have been a subscriber to the Trib forever. I love it a lot more than the Sun-Times that's for sure. However, I would like the Tribune to reconsider its sports page to include the results of high school sports. I can appreciate the downsizing to save costs but including hs sports would only take 1/2 to 1 page more. I know that can add up to a lot, but I hate the fact that I have to get a Sun-Times to find the scores. I'm sure there's a lot of high school fans and coaches who would agree. Please reconsider.
Thank you.
